Welcome to Coach Moody Lineman Training!
This one's for the big guys. As we all know, all the attention and glory when it comes to football usually goes to the QBs, WRs, RBs and other skilled positions. This program is catered to give the big men in the trenches the attention and training they deserve! If you know football at the expert level, you know that winning and losing games happen in the trenches 1st! We will prepare linemen to help their teams win games on the offensive and defensive side of the football.
ABOUT COACH MOODY
JaRon Moody (Coach Moody) started playing football his freshman year of high school. He made the JV team at Arundel High School in Gambrills, MD (No Freshman Team). He played JV for two years as a backup Defensive End until moving to Ashburn, VA in 2007.
JaRon played JV as a junior at Stone Bridge high school as a starting DE (Defensive End) and eventually made the varsity roster right in time to win a State Championship! Senior Year, JaRon switched over to Offensive Line as a backup Pulling Guard. Never started a Varsity High School game, JaRon was intent on playing college football regardless.
JaRon gathered all his film and made a highlight reel, only to gain interest from Shenandoah University, but decided to walk on at Bridgewater College. He came in as a 4th string Guard his freshman year and worked his way to back up Guard by the end of his freshman year.
JaRon received his first Varsity college start in Game 3 of his sophomore year. Junior year, JaRon started all 10 games and earned 2nd Team All-Conference (ODAC) and 2nd Team Roanoke Times All-State. He finished his career starting 8 games his senior year.
Since then, he has head coached a flag football team in 2015, has coached 2 years as an Offensive Line Coach, including a Championship Runner-Up and a 1,000+ yard rushing attack as well as a 20+ touchdown offense with the Ashburn Tigers (AYFL) in 2023.
Coach Moody Lineman Training was birthed after JaRon’s first year coaching Offensive Line with the DMV Hammers. JaRon received raving reviews from parents on his approach to coaching and improving the players week by week. One player/parent in particular requested that he provide offseason coaching, thus Coach Moody Lineman Training was born!
